Beaches Of Tortola

The beaches of Tortola, something for everyone on this island. Whether you are here for the day on a cruise ship, spending the week, or sailing around the British Virgin Islands.

In our opinion, the best beach on the island Smugglers Cove

Smugglers Cove – West End

Small secluded cove, with a white sandy beach. You won’t find more then that here. It’s also a bit of trek to get too, and a bumpy road down. But the best gems aren’t always easy to get too!

Long Bay – West End

A mile or so of long pristine white beach, with a few restaurants and shops along the way, you might even find a fabulous place to grab a cold drink and enjoy the view.

Brandywine Bay – South Side

Newest addition to the beaches on Tortola, located between Road Town & East End. A majestic calm beach to relax on, restrooms available, more necesities to come at this beach.

Cane Garden Bay – North Side

Everything you will need on the beach for a exceptional beach day. Plenty of shade, chairs or loungers for rent, restaurant, water toys, beach front bars. Most popular beach to visit while on Tortola!

Looking at Brewers Bay from the restaurant.

Brewers Bay – North Side

Quieter beach then Cane Garden, big white sandy beach with shade available. Calm beautiful water to snorkel right off the beach in front of you, massive reef right in the middle to explore.

Prestine beach and beautiful water at Josiah’s Bay

Josiah’s Bay – North Side

Best place to surf at during the winter months, or learn to surf at! Wide sandy beach, minimal shade, chairs available to rent, from the restaurant or surf school. Superb place to sit down and relax to watch the waves come in. Much flatter during the late summer months. Not ideal to snorkel at.

Lambert Bay – North Side

Quiet beach located at Turtle Bay Resort, great restaurant and plenty of shade available. Beach volleyball and other activities to find at this location. Plus a excellent place to spend your holiday at.

The massive beach of Long Bay on Beef Island

Long Bay – Beef Island

Connected to Tortola by a bridge is Beef Island, which holds some sandy gems as well. Great view of the other islands Marina Cay, Scrub Island, and Great & Little Camanoe. Massive long white horseshoe beach, snorkelling on the reef is available on far right & far left. No chairs, restrooms, or restaurants at this beach. It is easy to find just your self at this beach most of the time.

Trellis Bay – Beef Island

Last stop – Trellis Bay offers restaurants, water toys, great views, chairs, live music if you are there at the right time (both day and night). Also another locations for great night life or to catch lunch. Access by dingy and car, great place to pick up a mooring ball and spend the evening.
